Message	Would recommend cutting the crank gear with a dremel or die grinder, then splitting it with a chisel. I actually performed this elaborate procedure on my engine, only to find the gear hopelessly frozen to the crank. When my puller starting walking sideways I realized that cutting the gear would be much more effective.
